Repair Information

Smooth Fitness® will pay for the labour charges for any repairs that occur within the first year after purchase. Smooth Fitness® reserves the right to hire and reimburse one of over 100 certified technicians in our database.

Outside Service Areas:

In areas where there are no available service technicians, Smooth® may choose to send the part directly to the consumer with installation instructions or have a technician guide the consumer over the phone with installation procedures. In this case, Smooth Fitness® will reimburse the customer $50 per occurrence. In most cases, these repairs are minor and simple. Another option is for the nearest technician to their area sent to their home to service their product, drive time charges are the responsibility of the customer, but the labour fees are covered by Smooth Fitness® within the first year as stated above.

The best way to request service for your Smooth product is to fill out our online service request form. We will respond to your request with a confirmation call or e-mail within a day during normal business hours. After determining the problem, we will follow up with appropriate corrective action. Many service problems and questions can be solved right over the phone. Most treadmills and elliptical trainers have diagnostics built right into the console and we can usually define the problem by walking the customer through a few button clicks on that first phone call. If for any reason Smooth Fitness® is not able to repair the unit, we will replace it at no cost to the customer, guaranteed!
